Closing Half term holiday and 1st June reset day

 Dear parents/carers

I hope you are well.

I am writing to let you know that the school will be closed to children over the half term period as we would normally be in a school year. Following the Local Authority and school partnership principles, schools are able to take this time, and it will help us to prepare the school site for when it is safe to re-open to more children.

School meals for those eligible for Free School Meals are not supported by the government this holiday, so they won’t be provided. However, we understand that many parents/carers will be facing new difficulties at this time. Coventry has emergency food banks and the information is on the link  below: https://www.coventry.gov.uk/info/41/community_and_living/3589/emergency_food_networks

They will be very happy to help you, as they have been helping lots of people.

We will also be closed to children on 1st June, in line with Coventry Local Authority and school partnership principles. Schools can take this day to prepare staff for the re-opening of schools to more children when it is safe to do so.

We will be writing to give you more information as soon as we can to confirm further arrangements. Please remember that every school is different and will be taking their own approach based on their own context.

Once again, we would like to thank you for your patience and understanding in these difficult times.
